Myself and my wife stayed in June at Hanks Ranch, we love country and western and to come away to Hanks Ranch was more than excellent, it was nice to come away from work life to relax but yet enjoy our time at Hanks Ranch. Chilling on the porch with beers and whiskey sit around the fire with smores this is a place to visit and we will come again and will highly recommend anyone to stay at Hanks Ranch.

Where do I even begin with Hank’s Ranch?! Quite simply, this place is incredible.
We hired the entire Ranch exclusively from 11th–13th September to celebrate my Dad’s 70th birthday, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had found somewhere genuinely special. We had wanted his milestone birthday to be memorable, but Hank’s Ranch surpassed every expectation we had.
The first thing that strikes you is the authenticity. This isn’t somewhere that has simply been given a few cowboy props and called “Wild West themed”. The craftsmanship, thought and extraordinary attention to detail that have gone into creating this little piece of the American frontier in the Norfolk countryside are remarkable.
The Church, The Jail and The General Store are beautifully handcrafted, and everywhere you look there is another tiny detail to discover. From the materials and furnishings to the fittings, signs, props and styling, everything feels as though it has been carefully considered in homage to the originals. Yet despite being wonderfully rustic and authentic, the cabins are incredibly comfortable and have everything you could possibly need. It really is the perfect combination of escapism and comfort.
You very quickly realise that Hank’s Ranch is a labour of love. You can see the passion that Hank and Sarah have poured into creating it, and that same passion extends to the way they look after their guests.
They were utterly amazing hosts. Warm, welcoming, generous and incredibly accommodating, they genuinely could not have done more to help make Dad’s 70th birthday weekend special. Nothing felt like too much trouble. And we absolutely HAVE to mention the homemade cowboy stew… to die for! 🤠
Having exclusive use of the Ranch as a family made the experience even more special. The privacy, beautiful Norfolk countryside, wood-fired hot tub, campfire and those fabulous cabins created such a wonderful atmosphere, while the Saloon was the most incredible social space for us all to come together.
And ultimately, it was those moments together that made the weekend.
We gathered around the campfire making s’mores and laughing until our faces hurt. We tried our hand at lassoing — and actually got pretty good at it! We became increasingly competitive over horseshoe toss, played numerous card games in the Saloon and simply enjoyed having the time and space to be together.
As someone who absolutely loves country music, Western styling and that whole aesthetic, Hank’s Ranch was basically my idea of heaven. But some of my favourite moments were actually the quietest ones: sitting out on the porch as evening arrived, surrounded by the countryside, with nowhere else we needed to be.
Those evenings on the porch felt like what life is really all about.
Time slows down here. Phones become less important, conversations get longer, fires get lit, drinks get poured and everyone is simply present. For a family celebration, that was priceless.
We went to Hank’s Ranch to celebrate an incredibly important man in our lives reaching his 70th birthday, and we came home with memories that our whole family will hold dear for many, many years.
Hank and Sarah, thank you from all of us for your incredible hospitality and for allowing us to share something that is so clearly a genuine passion of yours. What you have created is remarkable — not simply because of how it looks, but because of how it makes people feel when they are there.
We loved every single minute.
Would we recommend Hank’s Ranch? In a heartbeat.

Just returned from a weekend break here. Amazing gem in Norfolk, 5* well deserved!
Immaculately clean cabins with such attention to detail, props, photo opportunities, local recommendations and the little touches of homemade bread and jam all make it so special! Hank and his wife are great hosts, nothing is too much trouble.
Looking forward to seeing the saloon all finished, no doubt it will be just as amazing as the rest of it. Would highly recommend a stay here!

What an amazing experience Hanks Ranch is!! From arrival, we received a warm greeting and some homemade treats and were shown to our cabins for the weekend.
We stayed in the jail, and had family stay in the chapel. Each cabin had its own unique vibe with so many small details added in - you can really feel the love and passion that was put into the making of each cabin.
Having access to the fire pit just added an extra layer to the trip. Being able to cook dinner over a campfire was the cherry on top.
I cannot recommend Hanks Ranch enough - we are already looking for free dates to come back again!!

This place is nothing short of wonderful. Truly. Hank is kind and super helpful. The accommodation is comfortable, cosy and such fun!!! The attention to detail is second to none! We absolutely look forward to a return visit to have a drink in the saloon bar and a soak in the wood fired warm and lively tin tub bath while looking out over the stunning Norfolk countryside. Such an amazing place. Fantastic theme with exceptional attention detail. Hank and Sarah were incredible hosts and literally nothing was too much trouble. They baked us some fresh bread and bought it over while it was still really warm. They were very accommodating and literally couldn’t do enough for us. I highly recommend this place to anyone this place is ideal for birthday celebrations, Anniversary or a hen/stag do

My partner and I had a lovely relaxing weekend at Hanks Ranch. Hank was very welcoming and had great recommendations of walks near the ranch and a nice local pub to go to. We had cozy nights next to the fire pit with smoores and good conversation. We treated ourselves with booking the hot tub which was a lovely experience. Thanks Hank and Sarah for a wonderful weekend!
